I made the point that Reagan, Rudy and Fred Thompson (if he runs) are conservatives who have the ability to appeal to a broad spectrum of voters, because they are amiable within the framework of their conservatism. Hope that’s clear now.

Rephrasing what you said doesn't change what you originally said.

They tend to vote for the sane middle of the conservative spectrum, a la Reagan, and IMO, Rudy.

Rudy is NOT in the middle of the conservative spectrum and Reagan was nowhere near Rudy's liberal spectrum.

Sandwiching Rudy's name between two people far more conservative than he will ever be, and saying "their conservatism", will not make Rudy a conservative. Nice try, lib-lover.
