Okay someone just FReep mailed me. If you go to an active member’s homepage and then type the banned member’s name in the “view homepage” field, it brings up the “nobody by that name” message. But if you click directly on their name from one of their posts, you get the “banned or suspended” page. Weird, I don’t remember it ever being that way before.
Maybe some of them are just getting a “sit out” as opposed to a permanent ban.
Eh, consider this. Jack Thompson, for example, I’m sure has been banned for life, yet you get those differing messages when looking at one vs. the other.
