It's nice where I live today too - but, it's pretty much always nice where I live. :))
“Ted Olson...Who would dare impugn his conservative credentials or his moral authority to support whom he thinks is the best man to be POTUS.
Is Ted Olson a conservative? He is not a candidate and honestly I don’t know his positions on taxes, abortion, national security. If they align with Giuliani then certainly he is no conservative.
As far as him supporting Giuliani...he can support who he wants and be a fine Republican. His conservative credentials would however be debatable at best and ruined at worst.
Who? Why any strawman you care to construct could do that. The strawman is the mischaracterization of opposition to a liberal Republican as impugning his conservative credentials or his moral authority.
It is fair to inpugn and question anyone. It is also fair to decry the tone of that opposition.
But, Ted Olsen puts his pants on the same way I do.
Ah, the Cindy Sheehan "moral authority" complex. Just like Sheehan has the ultimate "moral authority" to attack President Bush and the WoT because her soldier son died in the war, you're saying that Ted Olson is the ultimate "moral authority" on conservatism and conservative candidates because his wife died in one of the planes on 9/11.
So, if Ted Olson threw his support behind Barrack Obama, would you still be making this same argument?
Olson impugned his own conservative credentials when he sacrificed them to support the most liberal GOP presidential candidate in United States history. What he once had, he has no more. Just like you.
Im pro-choice. Im pro-gay rights, Giuliani said. He was then asked whether he supports a ban on what critics call partial-birth abortions. No, I have not supported that, and I dont see my position on that changing, he responded.

Are Republicans so afraid of hillaryious, that they will abandon their values. Why are 'good' Republicans all of the sudden believing the words of the lame stream media.
I am going to relax and go vote your conscience because I am not afraid of the hillaryious, Hussein, or any other Goreish candidate the rats can throw at us.
It is so "liberal" to say that you can't question a person's judgment because they had a loss. I don't question his credentials, I question his judgment. I think he's wrong to support Rudy, and I think I have every right to say that even though he lost his wife on 9/11. Being married to a dead person doesn't make you immune from making stupid decisions like supporting Rudy.
