I heartily agree with everything you said.
Keyes may be a lousy politician (I didn't follow the Illinois debacle that closely) ... and I know his remarks on reparations riled some people ... but he is perhaps the most eloquent spokesman for conservative values I have ever heard.
I'll never forget seeing him deliver a no-holds-barred pro-life message to a convention of Perot-ites. His presentation was so winsome and persuasive that he received an enthusiastic standing ovation from that pro-choice crowd.
For anyone who holds to the stated purpose of this site, Alan Keyes deserves nothing but respect.
