I am a monthly donor here and to the GOP.
There comes a time where the question is, “What matters if you gain the whole world and lose your soul?”
If we let the wrong person in, the US will have lost the soul the founders created for it. Not sure how much I’m willing to work for that.
But I am most willing to work to help prevent that from happening.
