Excellent quotation. I always liked McRae.
My two uncles served in Europe during the invasion of Normandy. One was with the airborne; the other flew a glider. On the other side of the globe, my father was busy working on specially modified B-29s (yes, _those_ specially modified B-29s) with the 509th.
