--I've always thought FR is whatever it is at a given point, not what it sez on the intro page, nor what anybody wants it to be--

If this was a truly public meeting place you could say that. But we are meeting on private property, so the owner has more imput, than say if we met in a public park.

But I do believe that conservative credentials probably matter more...But it's like a venn diagram. On one side, is the GOP. On the other side are all folks that consider themselves conservative. In the middle is the section that matters most to FR: those whose conservativism matches the Reagan Revolution ideals and JimRob's mission statement. Those are the most important credentials of all here.

Where

Of course the diagram isn't proportionally correct...but it was the first blank venn diagram I could find to edit!

Yeah. I understand Venn diagrams, but my point still stands. FR is what it is, and it doesn't mean that it's the intersection of the GOP and Conservatism....it isn't.

Otherwise, there wouldn't be Mike Savage threads. There wouldn't be "new planet discovered" threads. There wouldn't be physics threads. These are scattered all over the diagram and some are often excluded from the football-shaped intersection.

I don't even think JimRob thinks he makes FR what it is, like the garden analogy, he's just a gardener and he tries to weed and plant, but the final result is not really his direct creation.
