The last time I got a cell phone wet, the electronics guy told me to put it on a baking sheet and put it in the oven on the lowest setting all night long (with the battery out of course)

Alas it was too late for said phone, so I never got to try it, but I will the next time!

The problem with cellphones is, if you get them wet, and they are on, chances are the circuits are going to short out immediately.

You’ll know, because they will just stop working.

Unfortunately, drying them out afterwards isn’t going to work.

I bet if you left it on a dashboard of a car on a hot day, it would achieve the same effect. I have heard you can bake cookies that way, and the car smells great. LOL
