Id like to think hes going to announce but I dont think hes going to do it just yet.Maybe later, you're right. A lot of people on FR support Thompson. I was on a Thompson thread when he came up first on that poll in Ca. and congratulated him and his supporters on FR.
Thompson had 28% and Hunter had 22%.

I love Hunter, but I think the nomination is Thompson’s if he wants it. I think that Hunter would make a perfect running mate and would have a clear shot in 2016.

Lets ping the Stop Rudy list and jump in here to KILL THE THREAD. ONLY POST POSITIVE COMMENTS. As just a simple "Newbie", might I suggest that this thread is locked, and if desired, a new thread started with only positive comments.
Time for me to sweep the "Levin Lounge" and prepare for opening :o)

Hunter Thompson, Thompson Hunter. I can get behind that! If it sets up Hunter being the VP in 2016 - excellent.
I want some new fresh conservative faces as well. That might be a project this year. Get some of the names up and out that will be the future of the conservative side of the GOP for decades to come.

Thank you, Chena.
I hope it comes down to Hunter and Thompson----or----Thompsom and Hunter. Then have a run off between them, and may the best man(Hunter, wink wink)win! They're the picks of the litter. :-)

“It’s time for the reconciliation and healing to begin, and then let’s get back to work. We’ve plenty of work to do putting our own house in order, then redoubling our efforts in promoting the best conservatives to represent us.”
I agree, Jim. Let’s do it!

They’re out there, my only concern with Hunter in 2016 would be his age. There is a real need to develop some nationally known conservatives who in their early to mid 40s so they can lead us for another generation.
