Hey JCEccles! Just introducing myself. I actually told my wife it was one of the most boring movies I’d ever endured (lol)

Oh ok, I knew there were some legal ramblings about it around the time it was released.

There was unwarranted criticism of Nussle because he didn’t seem conservative enough to some in the party.

I hope someone will pass me the cliff notes when they are done........
I can’t figure out what has happened.

This is tough for me.
All the Epics in here for the past nine years. The Clinton Regime, Elian, Schiavo, Meiers, and lots of others. Pretty volatile stuff.
I was proud to consitantly see my postion on an issue be hers.
And Onyx's,and Peach's.
And oceanview's.
Politics aside, those are some good people. ;^(

Is there no virtue among us? If there be not, we are in a wretched situation. No theoretical checks-no form of government can render us secure. To suppose that any form of government will secure liberty or happiness without any virtue in the people, is a chimerical idea, if there be sufficient virtue and intelligence in the community, it will be exercised in the selection of these men. So that we do not depend on their virtue, or put confidence in our rulers, but in the people who are to choose them.

If what I said was inexcusable, I guess I'm toast too. Can't possibly understand why, but these are interesting times.
You're not dragging me into this. I don't want to go down the shiny silver slide into the abattoir.

Ill bet you some Maryland crabs that Giuliani wont win the nomination. Hes very far left for a Republican. You have to admit that. When Fred Thompson enters, things will change. He will have conservative and Party regular support, pulling the moderates and center/right out of the other camps. Giuliani will have only the liberals and a few Party regulars hoping to get jobs and riding a winner. My bet is up 2 dozen Maryland crabs.
I sure do love crabs....Alaska king crab is the best. But I'd take a load of Maryland crabs too. teehee You'll get no argument from me that Giuliani is to the left on the social issues. That's why I'm also hopin' and praying for a better candidate for the Republican ticket than Rudy.

It was distressing to be here and see it all transpire before my eyes.
Almost surreal how, one after another, some of the Freepers I’ve know for so long, took up the argument with Jim.
Some insulting and cursing him; others daring him to ban them!
I’m still kind of stunned by it all.

Some insulting and cursing him; others daring him to ban them! The insulting and cursing went both ways, I'm afraid.
