Gore is the dream candidate for the GOP. He either wins the DEM primary (doubtful) or runs as a third-party candidate (thus killing the DEMs chances).

If he wins the DEM primary....he loses big time in the general election. Won't even be close.

I’ve heard Gore’s thinking of running as the Green Party candidate as well.

Gore is a retread. But James Carville is right, Al Gore is getting really fat.

Bud, if you don't recognize that 08 is nothing at all like 00...in terms of Gore and who he is, where he stands.....not much I can do for you...

Gore is a dream come true for the GOP IF he runs......Just as the GOP was foolishly spun into "running away from GWB in 06"........there are people now (on the Right) putting in place our their own misinformation campaign....trying to push Gore into running.....

I hope he takes the bait.....as our foolish base did in 06.

If he runs it guarantees a GOP victory in the WH in 08...

Word from the Gore camp is that he is fairly certain he can make this Global Warming crap go only so far. He expects to open a chain of CarbMarts across the country, using the proceeds from selling useless carbon footprint reducing items at ridiculous prices to finance his next campaign.

The best scenario is Gore runs as a Green Party candidate and siphons votes away from the dems.

Do you actually believe the myth that former Vice President Albert Gore won Florida in 2000? Several major newspapers and media groups did their own recounts, and President Bush won ALL of them. Do you really think they would not have trumpeted a win by Mr. Gore if they could have?! Another thing; Mr. Gore has gone very far left of his positions in 2000, and this is still a majority center/right country. Up against a Fred Thompson, he would be beaten like a rented mule, IMHO.

Make our day, Al. Run.

The sight of Al foaming at the mouth, with more and more scientists coming out of the woodwork decrying his pseudo-science, would be such a great feature of the next presidential race.

Maybe he’s running just to make Hillary look good...?

As fat as he is, and as overinflated as his ego is -— Gore doesn’t have the stomach for another run at the Presidency..

Gore KNOWS he’s a fraud.. Gore KNOWS the world now knows he’s a fraud.... Gore KNOWS he can’t win..

I believe Gore is threatening to run in order to extract from the DNC some very senior statesman status and folding green beyond his wildest imagination....
Gore and his corrupt father before him have always been more interested in the folding Green than the Green Agenda...

I do agree that if Gore ran as the DNC or Green Party candidate — he MUST lose or America is doomed beyond salvation..
