I've been thinking about this all week - the difference between evil and mental illness. At this precise second, I don't think I know. Perhaps it is intent. Or choice. Perhaps evil is a clear-headed choice. Whereas mental illness would be a choice based on other factors - such as brain pathology or social pathology. Cho: evil or mentally ill?
