I really don’t think we should get worked up about this kind of stuff. Electorally speaking, gun control is a dead issue. If you put on your waders and head to DU, you’ll find that even a large segment of the moonbat population is pro-2nd Amendment. If the Dems decide to run with this stuff it will only hurt them, i.e. help us.
I've read some really good pro-2nd Amendment posts over there. It's freakin' weird.
