I was referring to the taped message Alec Baldwin left on his 11 or 12 year old daughter’s phone messages. I have never heard such vile language directed toward a child! I heard it on the radio yesterday. The man truly is sick. I don’t care what is going on in court regarding his divorce or custody issues - talking to your child like this - is absolutely inexcusable & indefensible.

I heard it yesterday, too! I felt so sorry for that little girl! Unfortunately she has an a hole for a father.

I agree, like I wrote on that thread. My parents went thru lots of trials and made lots of mistakes, even drinking and my dad fighting in bars. But never ever would my dad, or mom say anything like that to any of us, and I have managed not to too.

It's wrong! Shocking that some freepers seem to identify with this.

There are two things that stood out in Baldwin’s message.

1) He knew it was being recorded and spewed anyway.

2) He acknowledged he was leaving a message for an “11 or 12” year old child. There was no attempt to backpedal, apologize or relent - he went at her with both barrels.

This, IMHO, is NOT an isolated incident. Baldwin’s rants, wanting to stone Henry Hyde and his family, are good examples of a man who needs some psychotherapy.

I only pray that Steven can knock some sense into him while there’s still time.
