PLEASE don’t put Alec Baldwin into this. It’s no wonder men have no rights with crazy women controlling everything. Making Alec Baldwin the crazy one in this scenario is a huge blow the Father’s rights, something this forum should know better about. You heard ONE tape and are ready to condemn this guy at all costs. How would you like to be judged by your WORST moment. And I hate Alec Baldwin as much as the next guy.
At my WORST moment I have never said anything like this to any child. Much less on tape, where I knew it could be used against me. I've heard other instances of Alec Baldwin "losing it" & it seems pretty consistent.

Crazy women controlling everything??? I guess you should know. What do you do - just cruise this forum looking for people to attack? I've never seen a post of yours that wasn't attacking someone for something. Maybe you & Alec have some anger issues you need to look at.
I remember when I first joined FreeRepublic - your posts stood out from the rest in their rudeness, hyperattacks and just general lack-of-civility. I really don't understand it.
Have you ever noticed that some people here have an obsession with everything gay?? It’s one thing to disapprove with homosexuality, even to find it repulsive, but the prurient interest in it, i.e., the bathing as it were in every article about it, is an unhealthy obsession as well IMO. Doth protest too much???

Sorry, but this one tape is another stone on a growing mountain of evidence that makes me wonder if Mr. Baldwin should not be under professional care in an institutional setting.
Did you hear that tape of Baldwin? No one should ever have a bad moment like that with an eleven yr old daughter. How does he undo that damage with her now? Baldwin is a piece of crap!
There are some things that are never acceptable to say to a child regardless of how you FEEL at the time. The statement stands regardless of who said it.
I get that. But if my worst moment was like that I'd be shameful, not defensive.
I have no doubt that the ex is jerking Alec around and maybe even hatefully pushing his buttons on purpose. But neither of them should bring this resentment and bitterness into their contacts with the kid. Not ever. Not once. You don't use the kids as weapons and you don't poison their minds with your own bitterness. Not ever.
His taped rant was worse in that it wasn't even an attack on Basinger through the child, it was a directed personal attack on the 11-year old girl herself. That's just bizarre nomatter the situation. Even if she was deliberately frustrating him... this rant is *still* over the top.
That he did shows plainly the shallowness of his character and that the bitterness has festered into what can only be called a serious personality disorder. That this is only one of many known displays of his narcissism only confirms it more clearly.
I will be getting flamed for this. But believe it or not, I have heard of parents saying worse things than that to their children. This, of course, does not make it right, and I have no kind feelings for Alec Baldwin.
Which Baldwin tape are you claiming is the only one? The tape where he ridiculed his 11 or 12 year old daughter? The one where he said Henry Hyde and his family should be burned to death in their home? The tape where he slugs a photographer?
Freepers are already very aware of how violent Baldwin can be. We didn’t need an additional tape toward his daughter to confirm it.
A mother should protect her daughter and offspring with every means possible from someone who threatens to cross the country to “straighten her out”.
