The very same people are behind our mission in Iraq. How are we supposed to protect the Iraqi people and spread freedom if we HATE muslims ? humm

"How are we supposed to protect the Iraqi people and spread freedom if we HATE muslims ? humm..." Sadly,
It is more a matter of trust than of hate.
Which do I mistrust the least....
The media,
Any given liberal 'anonymous' source,
Or, any given muslim..
?

I, for one, do not 'hate' Muslims. I abhor those who attempt to use religion (or other reasons) to justify murder, but those are a distinct grouping apart from normal people. There are many Iraqis (or so I am told) that want even at the cost of their lives the same freedoms we enjoy, and that alone should be reason enough to help them help themselves. Freedom does come at a price... but even if it is a neverending self-demanding price, how can we in good conscience allow those same freedoms to not be available as a choice to those who would benefit most from it?
One's religion (within reason) should not be the standard upon which we choose to hang our banner. The quality, honesty, and integrity of the individuals within that sphere of interest we wish to participate in should be the overriding factors upon which we choose to align ourselves with.

You obviously haven’t spent any time over here. Come on over, watch some friends get blown to pieces by the cuddly hajis, witness the collective yawn over it by the populace, then give me your righteousness speech.
