Now..., how long ago was that... “rather fight than switch”?
Ahhh..., found it —
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Us_Tareyton_smokers_would_rather_fight_than_switch!
LOL
Do you have a traditional wisdom deficit?????
The reality Erik, you are nothing but a thing, just a pc indoctrinated liberal on a string.
As to your life experiences, invest a quarter and call someone who dives a damn.
NSNR,
“I’d rather right than switch.”
You’re good. I didn’t think IslandJeff was old enough
... perhaps rs is old enough. Wasn’t it the 60’s when
cigarette commercials were banned and the cancer labels
place on the packages? Never understood why big tobacco
was taken to court twice for the same offense. Double
Jeopardy you know.
I’d rather FIGHT than switch. (sheesh)
Nope. The full moon isn’t until the 30th. So I have
absolutely no explanation for the howling that has
permeated this thread.
So it is ok if I blame you for the actions of others from a similiar background?
Apparently you are clueless as to the fact that hundreds of thousands of moslems are fighting alongside our soldiers in Iraq and Afganistan.
Thanks. It seemed obvious in light of the bias in the MSM.
Hey Jo N, have you noticed any updates on this story? In Google News “waleed virginia tech” did not turn up the “hero storyline” much at all. Of the five links I checked only one alluded to it. Google Web had some stories that included the tale. The Boston Herald (Google Web) attributed via the NYT website to Randy Dymond. I’m wondering if there has been any follow-up.
Interesting.
Perhaps they’re hoping the Waleed story will go away.
I was hoping someone would get in touch with Krause
and Hixon.
Would you mind listing the links for the sites you
found? I think it would be good to have them here
as a record.
Thx... Jo
Google News, 747 hits:
We have one Professor citing an anonymous letter from a student, that's suspect for the anonymity of it. We have four students who survived, perhaps two of whom could be the one to have written the letter, if the letter was indeed real. And the one of those two who is withdrawing.
Not one of those four seems to have yet come forward to vouchsafe the tale, or even to corroborate it directly or by hear-say. Would not the four have been in or still be in some post-event communication?
Silence speaks, too.
I’m in complete agreement with you.
This story wreaks of fraud.
Good Morning Jo,
This whole muslim hero story equates to the subterfuge by the lefties(Cair) to garner empathy/sympathy for the muslims.
This scenario reminds me of the (gay push) to allow them to serve openly in our military. One (gay) demonstrator dressed in Army Greens at a actup rally was wearing a (Medal of Honor) award around his neck. The demonstator played on the fact that he had received this award for his heroic actions, not his lifestyle.
Further investigation revealed, this individual had never served in the military one day. As it is apparent “Hero(s) of the left are nothing more than (Zero(s) for their cause.”
Damn!!!! The moon is full once again, time to shape shift into a Republican in Congress.
Respectfully,
NSNR
“My point is, there is a head-spinning contadicting among many freepers and other conservatives: on the one hand, they say we needed to oust Saddam because he was tyrannizing his people (who are mostly Muslims) - that imnplies we do and should have sympathy with Muslims and that Muslims can and should live under freedom; but then, many of these same conservatives turn around and talk as if they hate all Muslims. Can’t have it both ways. Can’t say Saddam was evil because he tyrannized Muslims, and then turn around and advocate a Saddam-like hatred (and even killing policy) toward people who are Muslims.”
You really do pick up all the media myth-making don’t you? NO ONE says Saddam was bad because he tyrannized “MUSLIMS”. One of the things for which Saddam was bad was because he TYRANNIZED THE PEOPLE OF IRAQ - PERIOD.
And who is it that advocates a “killing policy” towards Muslims????
