O'Reilly wasn't much better, but Geraldo really made me mad. Where does this talk show host get off pretending to be a journalist? Remember when he was expelled from Afganistan for giving away military information?

You’ve just given me one more reason not to watch Fox News (although I had plenty before now).

Change First to Second in the title?

Geraldo calls First Amendment "Loathsome"I just saw Geraldo on The O'Reilly Factor refer to the 2nd Amendment as "loathsome"."
Is it the first or second amendment he was talking about?

You might clarify which amendment Geraldo loathes.

I’m not watching (baseball) But why the heck would a reporter/journalist call the 1st amendment loathsome?

Send them an e-mail and tell them why you don’t watch.
To: ozzymandus
I watched it and had more than a little trouble understanding what Jerry and Bill O were trying to communicate.
To: ozzymandus
He is entitled to his opinion. If he really feels strongly, maybe he should run for Congress and introduce an amendment.
In fact, I urge him to do it! I hear the Democrats are looking for good candidates for 2008, and I’m sure he’s just what they would want.
To: ozzymandus
Geraldo is a statist — his god is the state. Nothing new there. FNC employs several outright leftists who get paid to express their opinions.

Please change “First” to Second.

Seriously, why DOES Fox News continue to give a job to Whorealdo? His idiotic statements on illegal immigration, gun rights and of course what he did in Iraq means he shouldn’t have a job on a respectable news network (keyword: respectable).

Sorry, I wrote First instead of Second because I’m so mad. OK?
To: ozzymandus
Geraldo is also loathsome.

Send them an e-mail and tell them why you dont watch.
After watching Captain Mascara, aka Shephed Smith practically abuse that Israeli family last summer (one of the Israeli families that had a soldier kidnapped), I did, and of course got the expected canned e-mail response.
You have to remember, tears = ratings, and Captain Mascara was certainly doing everything he could to get the tears flowing. It was one of the most disgusting things I've ever seen.
A ton of FReepers emailed Fox News after Geraldo decided to be a dumbass and start giving away the positions and plans of our troops, and rather than firing him, they simply moved him into another country (the man should have been tried for treason). Said FReepers got the canned e-mail response - Fox doesn't care what we think, they care about money, and I can't necessarily begrudge them that. They are, first and foremost, a business. I can avoid them like the plague, which I do.

Geraldo Rivera is a token lib for Fox. They use him to defelect criticism from the far left saying Fox is too right. He’s a useful idiot as are Smith and Colmes.
