If Baldwin didn’t care about his daughter, he wouldn’t call and he wouldn’t be angry. Alec and Kim both have issues and obviously, this was a set-up by Kim. It doesn’t excuse Baldwins’ words, but you have to hear the entire message in context to really understand more of what’s going on here. Perhaps mandatory family counseling is in order. After all this crap over the years and this latest public embarrassment, I’m sure the child needs it and the parents need to learn how to grow up, leave their narcissism at the door and focus on what’s best for their daughter. A child is not a pawn in a game of ego between Mom and Dad.
