I won’t say anything about Giuliani’s position on guns, but just point out that probably the ONLY reason Clintbilly said this was to get Giuliani in trouble with his base.
Do we really think that the clintons have any other motivation at this point than to get themselves back into the White House?
The 2000 election demonstrated that gun grabbing is NOT a popular issue at the polls, and most Democrats are very cautious about pushing it these days, unless they come from insanely liberal districts.
Remember, this was from way back in 1995.

Why would it get him in trouble with his base? The only reason Rudy was for the AWB was that was what Manhattan wanted.
