My dad never spoke to us like that. My mom did...~!! lol
But then my dad has always had a better handle on anger than mom, at least when we were little.
A couple of years ago at Thanksgiving for some reason the conversation came to disciplining children. Mom said “just put them in a room by themselves until they calm down... no reason to hit them.” My sister and I —and we NEVER agree on ANYthing-— looked at each other and my dad said just looking at the two of us made him crack up. My mom didn’t think it was funny! But it was.

OT- The Dr gave me these “fish oil” pills to take. Good golly they are as big as horse pills! I’ll be calculating the bar tab by counting with my foot!
