Agreed. I wish Bush had and would fight back. He made that promise about setting a new tone in Washington and unfortunately he’s kept that promise. He let all those Clintonistas who trashed the White House off with barely a word, then when we went to war, he’s had to try and cut deals with traitors and cowards. We really need to support someone who is tough and articulate the next time around. I’m not supporting anyone right now but those are the qualities I’m looking for and I’m willing to compromise on other issues in order to get those qualities.
“By not addressing the constant criticism, he has done much damage to himself and the Republican party.”
YES!!!
Bush needs to drop all his dreams about creating a new tone. All he has received for his efforts are insults and treachery. Washington ain’t Austin.
If Bush wants a legacy, let it begin with at long, long last calling out the duplicitous, near-treasonous Democrats actions and all their stupid, political kabuki theater.
Get the communication team together on the same page, set up a “war room”, and meet every stupid prouncement from the left with withering rebuttal. Dig out previous positions and quotes to skewer the hypocrits! Make sure the hometown media gets the statements.
Don’t think for second the his message will survive the DNC media filter. Make our rebuttals the news. The left can’t make its point when our fist is in its mouth.
Bush simply doesn’t have the “killer instinct” in him...never has, never will. I’ll agree, he has damaged not only himself but the Republican Party as well. As a leader he shows himself to be a very weak person fixated on a single issue.. As far as Harry we should ship his sorry ass over to Al-Queda with a white flag sticking out his ass.
