Bush to Address Reid's Remarks, Watch LIVE at 1:00 p.m. ET
(Excerpt) Read more at foxnews.com ...
He is speaking all the time, every day on Iraq. It's up to the MSM to use their prerogative to cover it and cover it in context...which of course they don't.
FOX is MSM. They have their own marketing niche, but the bottom line is the same.
“Briefly” isn’t enough.
FOX cut his speech off. When the President gives a speech of such importance, during a time of war, they should run the entire thing, or get the heck out of the business.
All FOX wants is the money, nothing else.
I sure would like to see an alternative, instead of being STUCK with FOX.
I would be willing to pay extra taxes for a government channel, that simply shows what is really going on and shows reality without the talking heads.
So, FOX.......YOU”RE FIRED!
I know I will not make most posters here happy with this remark, but this is the very reason I will support Rudy. He will never allow the media and the democrats to walk all over him. He is tough. I do NOT agree with him on some issues. Security and courage are two very important issues needed at this time. Rudy possess both. You simply can not tuck your tail between you legs and hide. This is what GWB has been doing. Sad, but true. What has turning the other cheek accomplished? Nothing.
I agree. It's maddening at times.
All FOX wants is the money, nothing else.
That's true of all TV broadcasting, basically. Though I'm grateful for the larger majority of conservative commentators on FOX than on the other channels.

Will never happen in a country run by a multi-party system because all the parties have different versions of reality. Who would run it? That's what PBS is supposed to be, BTW.
But that was why Clinton could never accomplish anything of substance. He was always distracted and commenting on every jot and tittle about what they were saying in the media.
If Rudy wins the nomination I will support him. However, I’d rather see a candidate who can unify the GOP better. What you say about Rudy’s toughness is probably true. I’m hoping some of the other candidates who are more in line with traditional GOP values will also show their toughness in the next months.
I agree with you, and for those who think conservatives won’t vote for Rudy, they are wrong. Conservatives, independents and democrats will vote for him. He’s the kind of tough leader America needs. No he’s not perfect but as we can see now, no President ever is.
His verbal skills and communication has made it all but impossible to gain an audience.
My support of GWB has turned into anger. You can not respect someone who allows to be bullied over and over and over.

Clinton made himself the perfect victim and victim-loving America apparently ate it up...if we can believe his approval poll numbers.
I am pissed at Bush — HE IS THE COMMANDER IN CHIEF and as such, the integrity of the military is HIS responsibility. Bush failed to REAM FILTHY HARRY AND NEW ONE....he should have, and as a vet myself, I can say I know many of our troops are upset because Bush had the chance and did not stand up for their major sacrifice and effort.
I am just pissed to the hilt.
Exactly. Clinton played to the tabloid TV instant gratification culture...and President Bush refuses to. And I admire him for it.
Sometimes you just don't get everything you want in one candidate. Ronald Reagan was one in a million. We are going to have to wait a long time before we see another Ronald.
Happy to hear that you would support Rudy. I, too, wish we could find a candidate to unify the GOP. I just don’t see one. Time is running out quickly. The clinton machinery is moving far to quickly. There is no other Republican candidate that has the media strength of Rudy. His toughness should overcome the media. Any man who refused to sit down with Arafat, deserves some respect and praise. He’s got mine.
I saw `United Flight 83 (?)’ last night on HBO, and have
little patience with `forked-tongues’ like Harry today.
135 years ago, Dems were no different. Reptiles.
As much as I detest him and hillary, he was an effective politician in the fact that he was constantly trying to help his party.
Look at the disrespectful manner he treated George Walker Bush. Years later, Bush appeared on TV with clinton at his side. They looked like the best of friends. Go figure. It certainly didn't damage their relationship. I understand that clinton was a guest of the Bush family on many occasions.
Don't think that you are the only one, sir. Bottom line - he's just a weak president that gets stepped on by even members of his party. He's beyond defending anymore & lost credibility, has become irrelevant, pushing to the point of laughable. Sometimes I wonder if his puppeteers are not in bed with the libs & are purposely subtrfruging him with him not seeing this.
