Coburn’s point seemed to be that Gonzales should fry not over the firings, but over lying. While I agree that I do not want an AG that does not tell the truth, throwing him like raw meat to the rabid Democratic dogs is not the way to do it.

I don’t think he lied about anything....he wasn’t apparently involved in the mechanics of firing these people, he didn’t provide a list.
He just ok’d his underlings decisions.
