If I had a nickel for every political candidate who had been anointed with the magic "he can win" salve and didn't, I would be a wealthy man. I do have to admit that watching the earnest True Believers talking themselves into all sorts of inane ideas never looses its power to amuse. I presume you're including the Rudybots in that assessment? I love their idea of running a northeastern lib against a northeastern lib being the ONLY way we can win.

I presume you're including the Rudybots in that assessment? The Rudybots are the textbook case of the condition. Their grip on reality is so tenuous, I wonder sometimes how they can function at all.
