You are not saying anything I haven’t heard or seen. Its shameful, and its disgraceful... and while I am glad your brother kept his cool, that doesn’t mean that everyone everywhere always does. I’ve seen divorces drag on for years.... with parents using children as pawns, knowingly and willfully turning them against another spouse.. undermining their authority etc etc etc.
Because “getting back” at the ex is more important than anything else.. and yes, even the most gentle soul can snap during such things. Again I am not condoning Alec’s behavior, but this is a personal family matter, and it has no business in the press... and it certainly is uncooth and disgusting for people to try to pile on on this against Alec for political reasons, which is exactly what is going on here.
This got leaked to the press on purpose, and its being used by some people who don’t politically agree with Alec (which I personally don’t) to pile on. I think this is shameful and disgraceful.. no different than NBC broadcasting the killers manefesto.
I’ve seen stuff so so so much more over the top than this in divorce situations, this one isn’t even on the radar. Is it right? no.. but please, trying to parlay this into attacks for politics, which is what this is about by a lot of folks is stupid and petty and no better than Alec’s behavior.
I hold my opinion of this incident regardless of his politics. Period.
