How does a submarine moored to a bulkhead with shore power not have water pumps??
Might one conjecture that this losing money museum with almost no visitors, which had just sustained a storm, have been subject to Jewish Lightning??
Sorry, that was so un-PC of me!

I searched high and low for pictures of the ex-Soviet navy sinking while tied up to the pier. Who has those pictures of sinking and capsized ships and subs the Soviets abandoned?

Shades of Guitarro? Not really.
K-77 was sunk because of her screen doors. Guitarro was lost during the "Battle of the Ballast".

We have unusual lightning strikes on the bay when the ice gets thin or the ice shacks get frozen in and unmovable. Never heard them referred to in your descriptive although money losing businesses and homes seem to have fires from lousy wiring. :-)

Nyet, comrades! Is combination of superior Soviet people’s workmanship and clever anti-imperialist self-destruct mechanism if people’s boat ever falling into hands of evil bourgeois capitalist exploiters of downtrodden American proletariat!
Just keep moving, comrades. Is nothing to see here. Unless you are wanting free trip to Siberian virgin territories camps of concentrated blessings of socialism!
