I’m not going to take sides here, but there is more to this situation then we are being led to believe.
Alec Baldwin may be a liberal nitwit, but that does not mean that the ex-wife is not running mind games on the daughter trying to alienate her from her father.
Baldwin is pissed and if Ms Bassinger is trying to alienate the daughter from her father, she is doing a masterful job and Baldwin is falling for it hook, line, and sinker.
On the other hand Baldwin may very well be a jackass father who doesn’t deserve visitation.

I think he said on the recording he was, “going out there to see her for the WHOLE day”. Nothing like quality time!
This guy is a serious loser and has no business around his daughter. Of course, Bassinger is probably a loser too.

I don’t care what kind of aggravation an EX is causing (yes, I have been through that!) one does NOT talk to ones child in that manner. Ever.
If there is a problem with interference from the EX, then that is what high-priced lawyers and court-appointed child psychologists are for.
Agreed on one hand....I have watched a good man totally ^$*@($ by the court and ex wife who has used the system and the “protection” of woman and child from the big bad scary man...
But despite whatever games the mother might be playing, and however twisted and manipulated the child is, she is 11 years old and a child. Her father should know that and suck it the $*@() up and direct his anger and venom, if it is deserved, at the adults involved, not his child.
He needs to be the grownup here regardless of how unfair it is....
