Soros proves once again, like Donald Trump, that the ability to make scads of money does not translate well into other areas. Unfortunately, like Soros, their stupidity on areas outside of money making will not stop wealthy individuals from thinking they’re geniuses in other fields.
That is so true. H.L. Hunt and Ross Perot are/were prime examples. They both made their billions in their thirty-somethings, by intelligence and most importantly by being in the right place in the right time.
They both translated their early success into believing that they knew everything better than anyone else. Soros is of that ilk.
Indeed, one sees it again and again and again.
