As someone said on another thread, this guy should have been expelled and been in a mental health facility, not allowed to be enrolled and attending Tech. Of course any student carrying a firearm, while legal under the laws of the state, would have been expelled.

The student body of Va Tech was let down by their administration, the legislature of the state, and by law enforcement.
