Natural Balance foods are the “good guys” when it comes to dog food. My dogs love it. If you read the labels they have just regular food in them. Just so happened that the rice they bought from China was contaminated.

You’ll notice they say read our ingredient panel...and when you do you just read good ingredients, not byproducts.
Wonder how much of our food has Chinese products in it. Sooner or later we’re going to see something similar with human food.
On the other hand, we’ve got enough contamination of our own with salmonella, etc.
You have to watch Natural Balance — at least their Duck brand — if you have one of the breeds prone to copper storage disease.... unfortunately, hard to tell the dog has it until it gets sick, their duck food is high in copper...
