Ole Zach has been tooting Thompson’s horn for sometime now... I say that as an East Tennesseean who keeps up with the two. Wamp appears to have more enthusiasm than Fred.
It humors me, honestly.
(And no, I’m not saying this with the least big of vindictiveness).

Optimistically Woo Hoo!

Looks like Zach Wamp wants to run for governor in 2010. Frist won’t like that.
To: NonValueAdded
“after Thompson’s visit with GOP lawmakers today said that Thompson’s entry into the race is “a matter of when — not if.”
That is the most definitive Wamp has EVER been.
To: SouthernBoyupNorth
He better get in soon. I spend FAR too much time crouching over FR clicking “refresh”. He probably doesn’t care that he’s ruining my relationship with my kids. :) Heehehee

Neither will I. I’d rather have Wamp stay where he is. There’s nothing to demonstrate that he has any grasp on issues here in Nashville, which are far different than DC’s.

Fred PING!
Let's Roll!
NOTE: Please contact FOXNEWS and ask them to be the first to have the dignity to remove that evil man's picture from our screens. The families of those lost at Virginia Tech certainly do not need to see the evil displayed in the eyes of the man who took their child or loved one so horrifically!
God Bless our troubled youth! They should all be in our prayers. However, there is no excuse (however you want to label it) for this despicable act of pure evil. Call it what it is

I agree. If Thompson enters the race, conservatives will be mega-energized. He is conservative who can easily reach out to independent and so-called moderate voters as well. Thompson would be a formidable candidate, the GOP better get their s-— together and start listening to the grassroots.
To: SouthernBoyupNorth
I take it you like Fred : )
