The reporters are still treating him as a “sad and lonely individual”. A victim.

There is something bizarre about the media. It is so typical of them to sympathize with the murderer. I am not surprised, but continue to be disappointed.

A liberal (CNN watching) coworker of mine sympathized with Korea “which is so ashamed. He was mostly raised here, if anything it is our fault.” Liberals are as deluded as the French (building on another thread). The "blame America first" crowd is alive and well, and still votes Democrat.

I would like to expand on what you said. I keep hearing references to him as an immigrant, the connotation being that he just recently arrived in the United States. He has been here since he was 8 years old and was still not a citizen! At some point, someone made a decision for him that he should not become Americanized and eventually he went with that program! Now, tie this into the 2nd Amenment. Constitutional rights should be granted to American citizens. If you decide to not become an American, you cannot freely exercise those rigths - which includes the 2nd Amendment. So, if you want to make the gun buying/registration process a little toughter, than enact a provision similar to being President - you have to be born in this country in order to own a gun. My rationale for this is, if you choose not to assimilate into the prevailing culture, than you cannot share in that cultures rights. Flame away!
