That wouldn’t be too surprising because Koreans write their names backward from the way we do it. So the A could still stand for Ax. Just one place he wrote it English style A. Ishmael, the other place he wrote it Korean style Ismail Ax (of course the spelling of Ishmael is different.)
We need to decide on what the address really says, then stay with that spelling. I say it’s “iel”. Anybody read it differently?
