If he printed the post electronically (like through payapl or stamps.com), many times the postage will have the date and, IIRC, time stamped on the postage.
Or the videotape may have the timestamp on it or CD may have had a time code showing when it was burned. I don’t think there’s a deep conspiracy here, just that NBC has some knowledge that shows when Cho sent it out.

Or if he used US Priority Mail - 2 days. Usually if you take a package in to be mailed, they print the label for you at the counter. Would be interesting to see if he was seen in the originating Post Office.
