I suppose you are correct and it was sent snail mail. But I still don’t understand the business about the “time stamp.” Reading the statements so far, it seems that they’ve avoided getting specific about how it arrived.
Whatever the case, I do believe that NBC didn’t know about this package until today.
They can probably tell on the postmark what ~time~ it was postmarked, and they find the time interesting, because it appears it was mailed between the shootings. That in itself is interesting.
He used FedEx and thus has a time stamp.
