I know all of that and for your edification, the Bible describes Hagar as Sarah's "handmaiden"; not a "slave". I read the snippet from the Koran, that was posted here yesterday, but don't remember if the Koran calls Hagar a slave or not.
I still say that far too many people are reading something into the Ishmael Ax things. For all we know, it's a reference to an on line place to buy VT tickets and clothing. :-)

I just don’t understand the Ishmael bit. My ex-Korean sister-in-law took such offense if people called her Japanese, Chinese, Vietmanese, etc. Much like Scottish people don’t want to be clumped together with the Irish. Similar but not exact. Again, the Ishmael is odd to say the least nopardons.
