I'm worried about everyone freaking out about people that are just painfully shy now. As it is they're a minority and it's impossible for natural extroverts, which is most of the population, to even remotely understand their mindset.
All this bologna reaching about the name ismail ak, from those who never even saw the name written. Not some obscure dr in turkey with the name ismail ak.
From someone who actually saw what he wrote it says Cho’s name was not on the package; instead, the return address said it came from “Ishmael.”
I'm just amazed that he wasn't KICKED OUT OF SCHOOL! This punk had the cops called on him 5 times in 2 years for events ranging from stalking to setting a fire in his dorm! He was insubordinate to his professors (not answering when he was being addressed in class) and even threatening to the point that almost an entire class of 70 students skipped class out of fear for this guy.
He was such a disruption that one professor had him removed from her class prompting her collegue to tutor him for an entire semester! When I was in school, the professors would certainly help you, but it was essentially "sink or swim." No prof would go to those lengths for an anti-social weirdo to make sure he graduated with a college degree.
Back when I was in school, it took a lot less to get expelled.
"YOU" would seem to be the set of social peers, especially the young women, who rejected him because he didn't fit in, because he couldn't fit in and would never fit in, this owing to his disturbed thinking, personality, and behaviors. This psychopath has been on a downward spiral for a long time, which gained momentum rapidly over the past 6-12 months. There were signs all over.
Maybe the impending humiliation of being a waiter at Chiles was too much for him.
Ismail is one of the most important firgues in all of Islam. Second only to Allah himself.
You have no idea what Cho was referring to, therefore you cannot know what he was not referring to. You can talk like you know, and you most certainly do that... but you cannot know, and you do not know.
Your conclusions are as much leaps of faith as anyone else's.

The return address was A ISMAIL. What was written on his arm was ISMAIL AX.
When more facts come out, and they will, the reference is probably going to mean something nobody here has even thought of. :-)

The frustrations of a guy who isn’t getting laid at that age, when he knows most everyone around him are is pretty ENORMOUS (not to excuse him or anything), obsessing about the guys that actually are having sex with the girls he’s stalking - I think deep down that may be the real core root.

See post 916...I didn’t even know the kid was Palestinian until Blitzer mentioned again and again he was part of a well know Palestian family. Then I googled the guy’s last name and came up with lots of Al Barghoutis that are Palestinians. Some are good guys, some are bad guys. I’m not trying to promote a conspiracy...just saying the first guy to have video/audio of the scene (in the right place at the right time) was Palestinian. He said he ran toward the gunfire, and when asked why he wasn’t afraid and didn’t take cover said he was used to this kind of thing in his country. Just the facts!
