Just heard anchorette report this on pMSNBC
Yep, I agree.
All i said was about the house abnd his parents, if i heard wrong, and reported wrong, i am sorry...the rest of the stuff i made no comment about.
*BUT*...on H&C tonite...a theory was put forward that Ismael
comes from a character in the Koran, that weilded an axe
to commit some kind of purification killings...
Did he also study Latin, perchance?
Fox had a discussion about "Ishmael's Ax" on "Hannity And Colmes." They said the return address on the package to NBC had the reference as well as the same written on his arm. The reference comes from the Koran. Ishmael (or the Islamic name Ismail) was Abram's (later to be called Abraham) first son born to the slave girl, Hagar, when Abram was 86 years old. According to the Koran, it was Ishmael, not Isaac, that God commanded Abram to sacrifice on an altar with a knife. In some accounts it is a ax. Also, in accounts in the Koran, Abram is described as using an ax to destroy pagan idols in the Temple.
it’s 50 posts back
That’s what I said to my husband.
Here’s the point, cupcake: no one knows anything for SURE, and that includes YOU, unless you’re Cho’s butt buddy (or just another ROPer.)
Only an imbecile would discount theories before all the facts are in. An imbecile, a leftie or a ROPer.
So what combination are you?”
LOLOLOL CUPCAKE? Wait a second, did you think I was talking to you when I said baffoon? Wll since you take ownership of it...BRAVO!
Give it a rest. haven’t you had enough? Save your chauvinistic personal insults for the real enemy.
...tragically those who should have known to intervene ignored the truth.
By "those who should have known" do you mean the counselors, the VT staff or...?
Do you think the outcome could have been different? How so? (This is an honest question. I am trying to learn.)
It’s a baseball cap turned backwards and looks NOTHING at all like an “Islamic” ( whatever you mean by that ) hat.
Thanks for all the effort. It’s a dead link.
You said — “Youve gone from general nuisance to absolutely no credibility very quickly for suggesting that freepers can hate as much as jihadists.”
Well, I was a first-hand observer of the hate that was directed at Clinton. And really, that’s not such a bad thing. I’m pointing out that hate is not the criteria for being insane and crazy.
Keep in mind, even in the Bible God, Himself — *hates*. He hates sin. Christians are supposed to *hate*. They hate sin, also — like God does. In the same manner, Clinton was *greatly hated* — and for good reason. So, hate is not the bad thing that a lot of people make it out to be.
The key here is (at least according to the Bible, anyway) — is to hate without committing sin. Hate is good — for those things which are “hateful”. And that’s where it’s at.
So, yes, very much so — on Free Republic there was a lot of hatred towards Clinton and toward his abject and total lack of morals and his seemingly easy way of getting by with so many things. What a good reason to hate someone’s actions — for the total lack of morals.
Don’t be so “PC” Learn to hate the bad things. Love the good things.
As far as the Jihadists, they hate, too. And, I would venture, in perhaps the same manner that many of us do. They do hate America. So, since they “hate” America, does that mean that we cannot hate the absolute immorality of Clinton and his adminstration, because we “can’t hate like the Jihadist”? No. It’s the difference between the “right thing” and the “wrong thing”. You have to distinguish between the two.
So, *yes* — we can “hate” just as much as the Jihadists do. We hate that they are despicable and evil in their ways. Are we right? Yes, we are — by what the Word of God say — we sure are.
They hate us. Are they right? No, not at all. Their hatred is based upon evil and upon the lies and deceipt and destruction that comes from Satan (as the Bible tells us). Thus their hatred is of the devil, of satan, is “satanic”, is *against* the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
I hope you’ve gotten a lesson in “hatred” here. We all must *hate* — but hate the right things to hate...

That happens in high school, too. I’m teaching my kids to learn how to write what the teacher wants to read. They have to make the decision as to what they value more: the grade or standing up for what they believe and providing factual info in their writings/discussion. As for college, when I was there, some profs didn’t want differing opinions regardless of whether or not facts were provided so that’s nothing new.
“Yes, the news outlets have reported that he used a credit card.”
Do either of you have a news link for this info?
Saw the warrant list...had some expensive items on it.
You “give it up”; you’re just hurt, because I called you on being delusional and paranoid.
I did some looking on the web and found some interesting facts. Ishmael (or the Islamic name Ismail) was Abram’s (later to be called Abraham) first son born to the slave girl, Hagar, when Abram was 86 years old. According to the Koran, it was Ishmael, not Isaac, that God commanded Abram to sacrifice on an altar with a knife. In some accounts it was to be done with an ax. Also, in accounts in the Koran, Abram is described as using an ax to destroy pagan idols in the Temple.
Hope it helps.
You said — “Frankly, in all my years here, I have NEVER seen so many posts containing completely false, delusional, hallucinogenic posts on a subject, as I have seen about this one. And that’s very depressing.”
There’s a lot of fear and loathing of the jihadists. And it’s for good reason; I understand where it’s coming from. They’re a despicable lot, for sure. However, we’ve got to be more intelligent about this whole thing with these Islamic terrorist (who are certainly evil, but not insane). I hope people get the picture here...

You don't KNOW what an Islamic hat looks like?
Like this?
Yesh, I know. He's just shaving.
Btw, go back and LOOK at what I posted. I don't assert ANYTHING for CERTAIN. My position is that I don't KNOW.
The only thing I'm absolutely certain of is that you don't have two brain cells to rub together. Oh, and that you repeating you're CERTAIN doesn't make it TRUE (apparently a concept you're still having difficulty with.)
