David Wald, spokesman for state Attorney General Stuart Rabner, wouldn't say why state police assigned to protect the governor didn't insist Corzine obey the seat belt law.

Sure, blame everyone but the idiot himself.

The arrogant self-appointed elite think the laws they make are for everyone but themselves, that they're exempt from having to live under them like the rest of us. Well, some laws just can't be messed with. The laws of nature are no respecter of persons.

Surprise, surprise Corzine. Guess what? You weren't above the laws of physics. Didn't expect that, did you?

I read an article a few days ago where the same question was asked and a Corzine spokesman said, "the Governor wasn't always amendable to suggestion."

The reason the copper didn’t tell Corzine to buckle up is that he wanted to keep on being the guv’s driver and not get reassigned to the one man post in East Overshoe.

Are you saying that if a multi-billionaire is in a 90 MPH crash without a seatbelt, he will get tossed about like a salad, just like us commoners??

I am stune.d

But I hope he gets well.

The CorzineCrushDummy demonstrated how not wearing seat belts can make dummy subject to thrust from the air bag and subsequent flight towards the back and cargo space, with broken ribs, spine and legs.
Lesson? I will wear them annoying belts even to the next door convenience store when driving a car with them air bags. Those bags can be crippling if one is not held back with belts, they shoot at you!
Oh, and watch your hand across the steering wheel!!!

I guess there really is not much point in pointing out that the state police officer in question did not want to lose his job by telling the governor to buckle up. :)
