I don’t have a dog in this fight because I simply cannot watch ANY of those “Infotainment” or gabby, chatty morning shows.
That being said, I did hear Hasselback on Glenn Beck, one day last week. Her habit of ending every statement with an interrogatory tone simply drives me up the wall. This is a common trait of many who have a great deal of difficulty expressing cogent thought, and is becoming common among young ‘uns everywhere. Her speech is also peppered with a lot of “you knows”. If I were a F&F viewer, I’d switch to driving bamboo skewers under my fingernails rather than watch her.

I watched (or listened from another room) for about 30 minutes and then flew to the computer to send an email to Fox comments—NO to Elizabeth! Her voice and high-school manner of speaking made me turn off the TV. Too bad, because I love Steve and Brian. Bring back E.D.

Her habit of ending every statement with an interrogatory tone simply drives me up the wall. The Valley Girl Effect. BTW, that Valley Girl accent has spread from the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles to the rest of the country. Now MILLIONS of women sound like Valley Girls.

I,too, noticed that every “ statement “ she made on Glenn's show ended as a question. This shows a lack of real thought to me. I cannot stand someone who is always looking for acceptance when ever they speak. Things are in fact black and white in most areas. I don’t need some wishy washy person giving me her “opinion “.
