Elizabeth Hasselbeck of "The View" is co-hosting "Fox & Friends" This week. And today, when she goes to assume her co-hosting duties on "The View," Elizabeth Hasselbeck is going to have a few choice words for Rosie O'Donnell.
But we'll get to that later. If you recall, cutie Kiran Chetry was canned when the William Morris Agency tried to play hardball with the Fox News Channel. Chetry was axed in favor of Gretchen Carlson.
Fox has been trying to push Carlson (albeit unsuccessfully) ever since Kiran left. They've even tried moving a few other Fox babes into the role as they watched their ratings drop-off.
Don't feel too sorry for Chetry as second-place CNN gobbled up the former Fox beauty, and she's now going head-to-head vs. FOX as the new co-host of CNN's American Morning.
Fox has been making blunder after blunder regarding their once extremely popular morning show. First it was moving E.D. Hill to make room for Carlson and then it was Kiran Chetry.
However, FOX looks to have read the writing on the wall as Gretchen has mysteriously vanished. Allison Camerotta returned to the show last week after being out on maternity leave and after several obvious failed attempts to find a suitable replacement, FOX may have found their girl in Elizabeth Hasselbeck.
Now I don't claim to know anything about Elizabeth's contract but it would seem that she may be planning to jump ship. It's no secret that she's been unhappy in her role on "The View" and at times has been the other three liberal ladies' conservative punching bag......."

Chetry was on the Weekend Fox and Friends. ED Hill was great on the weekday version. Chetry is pretty, but ED is much more knowledgeable and much smarter.
That tends to happen when a woman has a child.
Fox blew it. Chetry has almost made CNN watchable in the AM. She is leaps and bounds ahead of that grinning goofball Soledad OBrien...And John Roberts is way better than Miles OBrien whose sole purpose of existence was to be on hand in case a plane crashed someplace...
Laura Ingram should fill in on the “view” and shut those yentas down once and for all.

I would imagine it difficult to have a meaningful conversation with any of those leftists on the PHEW. They are all ready to make any viewpoint other than their own look stupid. Worse than that, Rosie is just plain mean, she does not even try to hear another arguement, she attacks, personally, anyone who tries to speak against her opinion. (A good indication that she’s not secure enough in her own understanding to have a real conversation about things.)
I’d get out if I were Elisabeth, and I would state why I am leaving, for the record.

Judgin from her speeches she sounds more like a conservative Republican.

You know, I don’t know that much about Valley Girls, but I have been wondering if that is the culprit for the way so many women speak now, and since you mention the spread, I’m thinking that may be it. How could this most annoying way of talking have appeared everywhere in just a few years? It drives me up the wall, whatever it is. Why can’t they just speak normally? It’s an almost fake rasp, like they are swallowing their words or something, talking about their BAST FRANDS. The best example is the 800 PAT MADS woman. Gretchen has quite a bit of it, Kimberly Guilfoyle is absolutely unlistenable with it, as is the body language woman - why can’t they make these women learn to speak normally? It makes me scream, it makes me change the channel, it makes me want to choke them. What is it? (By the way, E.D. Hill doesn’t have it - I really like her because she is very natural and relaxed, few of the women are.)

For all the talk about “News Babes” - I really don’t get it. News is about who you trust, who you believe, who has credibility. I’d feel much more comfortable with someone a bit older, not necessarily glam, and who seemed intelligent and knew what she was talking about.
Soledad - isn’t that a prison?? And that other one - Brigette? How could you ever get your news from Brigitte?
I think FOX ought to play ball and grab the girl who comes on after Glenn’s tv show. She’s witty, funny pretty, flirty and really likeable! What the heck is her name? Shoot.
In that case, I should get the job. LOL
My feelings too. Steve Ducey (sp?) really needs to tone it down. Humor is fine, but he’s silly.
