Diito #3 on the combat fatigue thing. I take the point that they are practical, but do they really need the latest night vision cammo pattern? They are policemen, not soldiers. They should dress as such. If they need to wear loose, easey to clean clothes, they should still be blue and say POLICE in big letters on the back. The creeping militarization of police functions has also led to many unneccessary deaths in America.

Of course, that begs the question as to why he chose “Ismail Ax” as his gamer tag. I think it extremely unlikely it has anything to with a Turkish doctor, James Fenimore Cooper or Herman Melville.
