Maybe if those men actually quit looking for the easy buck and got a real job they would be just a little better off. I don’t know a lot of black men but the few I do know are hard working people and own their own home and have decent families and go on nice vacations etc. I refuse to feel sorry for the sorry asses that insist on staying in their rut and getting fourth generation welfare. To be fair, I am a American Indian and I know plenty of Indians that fit this same MO. It’s easier to sell drugs that actually get a real job.

It doesn't suit the interests of Al Sharpton, Maxine Waters, the NAACP, the Urban League and so many others to actually solve the problems of minority poverty, the drug culture, etc, because these people represent a huge voting bloc. If they were to actually be lifted up out of poverty, the Dems would NEVER win another election and the NAACP would fall apart. Al Sharpton would have to start shopping at the mall for his suits like the rest of us and Jesse would have to give up at least one of his limo drivers.
Solutions for these problems have existed for decades, but implementing them tends to hurt the Dems and their constituents. Bad for business.
