My son called me on his way to work to see if “I’d heard” about the shootings. I think, bless his heart, he was calling as much for reassurance as he was to see if I’d heard.
I just happen to be on FR at the time and could fill him in on the updated details at the time.
I understand how difficult it is to see them go off to college. This will only intensify those feelings. Will he be attending somewhere close to home?
You’re probably right. I called my mom yesterday to talk about it but mostly just because I was scared. My school’s having a meeting tomorrow so we can talk about it.
