Good afternoon. Prayers being said for everyone. It is a very sad day in our country.
“. . . we thank You for a President who not only leads with courage, but leads with a heart that is softened by the presence of Jesus Christ, and we thank You for the comfort that he is able to give through Your power and Your love to people who are in such great pain at this hour. We ask that You would lift him up and carry him through the many challenges that he has faced and will face in leading this country.”

For the pain is no respector of the mighty or the small
But sometimes it just seems so unfair
To see one who's had more than his share
Oh it makes you wonder why
And Lord I wouldn't second guess Your mighty plan
For I know You have a purpose that's beyond the scope of man

That I have always been the trusting kind

First and foremost, I thank our Lord for answered prayer in my life.
Dear Lord, there are so many who need our prayers today. We ask special blessings for the community of those injured yesterday at Virginia Tech.. You know who they are and You know their hearts. God bless this community.
For all of those injured, we pray for their medical caregivers. Give them wisdom to comprehend what needs to be done for each of them. God bless their families who stand vigil for them.
We continue to pray for President Bush and his family, his administration and their families, and for our brave men and women in our military. We pray for their safety and special blessings for their families. God bless our nation.
