I haven’t priced a G19 or G17 lately, doesn’t $571 seem a little high? I was thinking they were around $350-400.

The article states that the ammo is also included in that price.

The price of a new Glock 9mm (excluding the Glock 34) averages about $550.

Knowing that a box of 9mm ammo can range from $7-$20 depending on quality, and not knowing what VA taxes are applicable, I'd say the price sounds about right.

According to info posted on FR yesterday, the guy from the gun shop mentioned (on the black rifle forum) that they sold some 33-round Glock magazines in addition. Said that they were the only place around there that carried them. That would add somewhat to the price.

I believe he said that on the forum that before he had talked with the BATF. He was just beginning to connect the dots early yesterday evening. I read through the whole forum thread before it was taken down.
