The story in holy scriptures is somewhat different! Interesting that the Koran is made up with bits and pieces of the Bible and then story sounding stories added to it.

Jews could say the same about Christians -- the Bible is made up of bits and pieces of the Torah with story sounding stories (whatever that means) added to it.
The sacred text of Judaism is the Torah, the Old Testament.
The sacred text for Christians is the Bible, Old and New Testaments. The Torah wasn't rejected, but corrected, in their view.
The Koran is, to Muslims, basically the third testament. Orthodox Muslim doctrine is that the Koran completes and perfects, not replaces, the Bible.
