Slurs against Italian-Americans considered no big deal by Liberal Mainstream Media even though Italian-American organizations have complained to the Liberal Mainstream Media.
Why do you think that is? Could it be the Imus affair was more about politics than ethnicity?

Talk about acceptable ethnic slurs, try being a Southern WASP. Anyone is allowed to rip on this group with no harm to their career whatsoever. A month ago, I heard Colin Cowterd (an ESPN Radio Blowhard) refer to Alabama fans as trailer park, tornado bait, which sounds especailly cold after all the deaths from the tornado that hit Enterprise, AL.
Please document this with date time people etc and send it to me
That will be hard to do, since I heard it on the radio back in early March. However, many people on the Bama football websites yack about it and hate the SOB like I do.
The MSM , the Dems, and even bloggers have protected groups which no one can question. It is so obvious that crime, immigration status, health status , govt. largesse that affects those groups seemingly makes them victims and the need for their protection becomes a full time agenda for The Left. Try being a Christian conservative nowadays even on some Christian sites. The new Wallis-Campolo groupings are on the attack. Gay agendas are attacking churches even bringing up the necessity of dealing with sexual sins of all kinds. Jim Moran of Va. today attacked Bush, the Gop and others for the shooting horror. Some people and groups are open targets, others are not and will be protected at all costs.
You are exactly right.
