We were winning the Vietnam War until news broadcaster Walter Cronkite unilaterally declared Americas defeat there. Were winning in Iraq, too, but you would never know it from the liberal medias slanted reporting. The big difference is the Walter Cronkite and the big three networks were THE NEWS in America back in the 1970s. Everyone got and pretty much trusted their news from them. Excellent point 2banana. I lived through that era and as a Vietnam veteran who knew we were winning, cried when Klunkrite made his assertion. Today, I explain the MSM similarities to folks and they just don't know or refuse to believe the
MSM has a liberal agenda
The United States, at ANY cost cannot afford to retreat from Iraq. A retreat from Iraq will lead to a higher price to be paid in blood and treasure later, IF there is time for a LATER.
